Designed by Bonnie Kramer, Bonnie Kramer Interiors, Hockessin, DE. These drapery heading panels are designed with tabs and are mounted on an MHZ rod with finials made of clear plexiglass with brass trim. The jewelry is clear glass beads and tear drops from Conso/Claesson's newest collection. The unusual placement of the cornice under the panels further enhances the rod and jewelry. The Robert Allen fabric is a sponge paint print of Hunter Green, burgundy and peach covered with gold lamé for a rich warm glow reflected in the hardware. the burgundy Duralee Chintz lining further emphasizes the theme of the overall design of the window treatment. "Opulence" sums this blend of decorative cording, trims and layers of window dressings. The intricate conrice and shade are evidence of the tremendous attention to detail apparent in this design. Carrie Perini, Silver Threads, Columbus, Ohio, designed and fabricated this flat roman and side panel combination offering unique visual details such as the decorative trim cord threaded through the shade and the pewter-finished wrought iron rod. The pair of velvet panels lined and interlined are held with 2 1/4" grommets. Nancy Rea, Window Accents, Custom Window Treatments, Watervliet, NY designed this open-necked and shirred-horn variation of an Empire valance to create a more relaxed look. The valance is trimmed at the bottom with tassel fringe. Trimmed over-draperies, and pinch pleated sheers complete the treatment. JoEllen McDaniel, JEM Personalized Interiors, St. Louis, MO created this elegant treatment with its swag of striped fabric with contrast banding and tassel fringe. The 2" wood pole with gold finished graped clustered brackets and magnolia finial are ideal accessories to set off the treatment. The sides are circular cascades with striped fabric as the contrast lining. The hobbled Roman shade is an open weave textural sheer with scalloped bottom accents. Kasmir fabrics were used throughout. Face fabric of swag: Copley--Hunter; face fabric of cascades: Clifford--Hunter; Roman shade fabric: Delancey--Flax; hand-tied tassel fringe: The Fabric Center of Fitchburg, MA--3" alternating Garnet & Evergreen. Dian Garbarini, Designs by Dian, Huntington Beach, CA, designed and fabricated this interlined, hand-sewn treatment using bronze colored, 100% Dupioni Silk. The valance is attached to the panels and the pleats at the top are a variation of the classic pinch pleat. Rings have been individually sewn to the treatment. Narrow horizontal pleats in the valance and lower portion of the panels offer interesting detail. The custom made, hand-forged wrought iron drapery hardware enhances this design allowing the treatment to be drawn by hand using slender iron wands. Katherine Fisher, Homestyles, Allentown, PA designed and fabricated this treatment beautifully enhanced by the custom hand-painted cornice donated by Kimberly Petruska Designs, Bethlehem, PA. Traditional elegance is taken a step further with this design featuring beading, trim and an ornate cornice most would imagine in homes of majesty. The pointed shade offers function and another element to the overall design. Janice Giancola, Bear Windows, Inc., Kennett Square, PA, designed this treatment fabricated by Custom Window Treatments by Pat Hawn, Gettyburg, PA. This design is for the "cant decide, price conscious" client. Yes, you can have three different looks for the price of one. This gives new meaning to the term three-in-one besides a rod pocket. The window has a complete look with pencil pinch pleat draperies and a decorative rod. The addition of the reversible topper adds two new attractive dimensions to the treatment. When the pencil pleat panels are all thats desired, the top treatment is a perfect table runner! This design has been submitted to F. Ronda Smith, A Room with a View, Marietta, GA, designed and fabricated this beautiful treatment along with the complementary accessories. The three pointed and tasseled swags lend a playful, fun twist to this treatment. The gathered bishop sleeve s and decorative rod are the perfect finish to this charming design. Pamela DeCuir, Pamela DeCuir Interior Designs, Wall-Neptune, NJ, designed and fabricated this full length treatment, a contemporary adaptation of a Louis XVI design. The treatment was inspired by a drawing found in The Curtain Book by Caroline Clifton-Mogg and Melanie Paine. Two beautiful fabrics are being used in a unique waythe over-drapery is a patterned sheer in champagne and the under-drapery is a gold patterned lamé. The over-drapery has gold fleur-de-lis ornaments at the top edge, two of which have cording suspended from them which lift the sheer. A silky brush fringe along the leading edge of the sheer is further enhanced by tiny crystal embellishments within the diamond motifs of the fabric. The gold lamé has crystal embellished tie backs and trim on the leading edges.
