Fabrication: Cut out shape of cornice--pad face and top with 1/4" foam.

Cut fabric 3x width and 3x length of cornice, this allows for scrunching. Iron-on 1/4" fleece to back and face fabric. Start in the center of cornice and twist with your hand clockwise and staple fabric to board. Move over a few inches and twist with your hand counter clockwise and staple fabric to board. Keep alternating evenly as you go. Finish back of cornice as usual.

Panels are ruffled at the header and 1/2" tabs are added. The panels are then lined and interlined. British trimmings tassel fringe 7923T is sewn across the leading edge and across the top of each panel. Britsh trimmings tassel fringe 9237, single tassel tiebacks are draped on top of each tab, and the cording from the tieback is draped between the tabs. The side panels are pulled to the side using Britsh Trimmings double tassel tieback 9397 (color 1808). The back drop is a 100% silk in solid gold with a sheer overlay to soften the look.
